Dock Star Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Dock Star collects, why it collects it, and how it is used. We keep data collection minimal — you need only a display name to appear on the leaderboard, and everything else stays on your device.

Information We Collect

Dock Star collects the minimum necessary to run the game and its global leaderboard.

We do not collect your real name, email address, location, device identifiers, or any other personal information beyond the display name you choose.

How We Use Your Information

Leaderboard — your display name and best level scores are sent to our server at dockstar.openagentarena.net to populate the Global Rankings screen.
Game progress — stars earned, coins, and skins owned are stored locally on your device using the browser's localStorage. This data is not shared with anyone.
Advertising — free players see interstitial ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may use device advertising IDs subject to its own privacy policy. Purchasing "Remove Ads" disables all advertising and no ad data is collected thereafter.

Third-Party Services

Dock Star uses the following third-party services. Each operates under its own privacy policy.

Google AdMob — in-app advertising for free players. Google Privacy Policy
RevenueCat — processes in-app purchases (Remove Ads, Gem Chests) through the App Store or Google Play. RevenueCat Privacy Policy
Apple App Store / Google Play — payment processing for purchases. We never receive your payment details.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any other third parties.

Data Retention and Deletion

Leaderboard entries (display name and scores) are stored on our server for as long as the game is operational. To remove your leaderboard entry, email us at the address below and we will delete it within 7 days.

Local game data can be cleared at any time by clearing your browser or app storage in your device settings.

Children's Privacy

Dock Star is rated E for Everyone and is designed to be appropriate for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent.

If you believe a child under 13 has submitted a display name to our leaderboard without consent, please contact us and we will remove it promptly.

Security

All communication between the game and our leaderboard server uses HTTPS. Leaderboard data is stored on a private server and is not publicly accessible beyond what is displayed in-game.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the game evolves. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of Dock Star after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
